I was hired once more to join the Tweed family after last summer’s session together, and this time I got to meet their sister and her family and their mother. This was an action packed and thoroughly enjoyable morning together at Crescent Beach -they are so real and were so friendly they made me feel a part of their family!
I worked with Amber Hughes as her assistant for our second wedding together in early May, and this one was action packed! It all started off with Kevin and his groomsmen at his condo.

And then off to Swan-E-Set for a beautiful civil and Persian ceremony.
Beautiful symbols were laid out before the couple for this part of the ceremony.
They fed each other honey!
Outside in the glorious sunshine for an entertaining afternoon of formal photos!
And on to the reception inside the beautiful resort hall. Banafsheh did an amazing job with the decoration, everything was so beautiful!
They hired some professional dancers for entertainment, which really got the party going!
And so begins one of the most rockin dance parties I have been to yet!
Little Jackson was a tad over 4 weeks old when I got to meet him for his photo session. I was excited because I got to try out a bunch of my new hats for boys. Jackson was a sensitive sleeper, but we still managed to switch a bunch of hats around and accessorize him while he caught some zzzzzs!
His dad is a bass saxophone player, so we had to include the father’s two favourite things in one photo!
Elliott’s parents had a special request -a primarily black and white newborn photo shoot, incorporating lots of family moments. While this style is a bit different than the newborn shoots I usually set-up, I am happy with the results and I had a lot of fun working with this family, and this sweet little girl was SO smiley! She has wonderful parents, and a very loving big brother! He is eighteen months and loved to play sports outside, but we did manage to get him inside for a few snuggles with his sister!
I had to throw in one colour, this flower looked so beautiful on her!
Jeffrey and Michaela wanted to return to White Rock for our engagement session where he proposed to her several years ago. I thought this was a wonderfully beautiful and sentimental idea, however we happened to go on the busiest and hottest Sunday in May, so there were LOTS and LOTS of people!! It worked out very well though, we managed to avoid the throngs and had a good chuckle about it! The images we captured really show the love these two have for one another -they are sooooo sweet together, and you can tell they are very much in love!
