Vernon is an amazing place for photos! I have never had the opportunity to shoot here, so when Pat & Jess decided to have their engagement photos in their current town I was so excited to explore new opportunities! The grass and corn fields, abandoned farm buildings, train tracks, colourful downtown, and even beaches and mountains provide so many unique backgrounds, and both Pat and Jess were so laid back and willing to explore anywhere! I’ve known Pat for years, and it was a delight to get to know Jess better, they suit each other so well. I can’t wait until their wedding, it is going to be so much fun!

Jeffrey and Michaela wanted to return to White Rock for our engagement session where he proposed to her several years ago. I thought this was a wonderfully beautiful and sentimental idea, however we happened to go on the busiest and hottest Sunday in May, so there were LOTS and LOTS of people!! It worked out very well though, we managed to avoid the throngs and had a good chuckle about it! The images we captured really show the love these two have for one another -they are sooooo sweet together, and you can tell they are very much in love!

I was so excited when Mel and Kelly decided to meet with me in Chinatown. The gardens were beautiful and I was delighted to be able to shoot here. Not to mention Mel and Kelly were very sweet and very fun to photograph!

We had to include these mouse ears that friends of theirs brought back! So suitable!

Off to the Westminster Quay for some exploring with this fun and very sweet couple, only a few weeks away from their wedding day!!
